The AM Jain College in Chennai offers UG and PG degree programmes in many disciplines, including arts, business, and science. There are two shifts for these classes: shift 1 and shift 2.

Under the UG domain, the college offers six BA specialisations, thirteen B.Sc. specialisations, and seven B.Com, BBA, and BCA specialisations.

Courses at the postgraduate level for graduates include two specialisations in MA, five in M.Sc., M.Com, and a number of research-oriented courses in nearly four fields.

  • Admission to Arunai Engineering’s UG programmes is provided based on the TNCPEE score.

“Education is the manifestation of man’s inherent perfection” – Swami Vivekananda According to Swami Vivekananda, Agurchand Manmull Jain College delivers a high-quality education to increase the abilities and intelligence of students from a broad range of the population. Agurchand Manmull Jain College was founded in 1952 by the generosity and magnanimity of Padma Shri Mohanmullji Chordia, via the Sri. S.S. Jain Educational Society, at the behest of His Holiness Shri Sayar Kanwarji Maharaj. It is one of the most prestigious institutes in Chennai and has been associated with the University of Madras for 75 years. The Founder and Chief Donor Padma Shri Mohanmullji Chordia’s vision of providing quality and affordable education to weaker sections of the society, in particular, and shaping the character and career of the younger generation has been the driving force behind the establishment of the college. Since the 2003–2004 academic year, the institution has been coeducational in order to empower female students and provide them with equal chances in all aspects of economic and social life. The college’s First Shift provides 8 UG courses, 5 PG programmes, and full-time Research Courses in Economics and Physics.

Shift-II, which was founded in 1972 as Evening College, now consists of FIVE schools or academic divisions offering 24 undergraduate and 4 graduate degree programmes. The School of Commerce provides seven undergraduate programmes and one graduate programme. The School of Business Administration provides one undergraduate programme, whereas the School of Arts provides one undergraduate course and one postgraduate course. The School of Science offers six undergraduate and two graduate-level programmes, whilst the School of Communication and Media Studies offers three undergraduate and one graduate-level course. The College is perfectly located in close proximity to the Meenambakkam Railway Station on the Beach – Tambaram BG Line and the National Highway to provide a tranquil academic environment conducive to productive learning. The lush green gardens with pollution-free environment, the spacious, airy, and well-furnished smart classrooms in the main building, Sardarmal Chordia Block, Annex and Viscom Blocks, the well-stocked computerised libraries, and the Computer Centre with internet access pave the way for the achievement of high academic standards. There are also facilities for co-curricular and extra-curricular activities that enrich the pupils’ personalities.
